The Noche De Salsa party, held at the Salsa Windhoek Social Club (SWSC) at the tail-end of June has to go down as one of the fledgling organisation’s most memorable parties.
Despite the winter chill, eager dance enthusiasts from across the city came to the club to enjoy salsa, bachata, and merengue rhythms. The floor was populated by beginner and advanced-level dancers; people from all working professions and backgrounds; salsa stalwarts and new, shy dancers curious to know what social salsa was all about. But, as always, on the SWSC’s dance floor where the only nationality that matters is fun, it was a night filled with meeting new people, laughter, dancing, and salsa.
Una noche de salsa: hecho. Many more to come.
